So that's why my favourite colour is green…

Spurred by an unquenchable jealousy Luke and I have started to make plans to follow in Michelle’s footsteps, strides that will take us to the other side of the planet. The plan was hatched over brunch this morning; the arrival time in Heathrow airport will be March 2008. That gives us just under 2 years to save, which is a fair amount of time, and I will have qualified for full teacher registration. At the moment we only intend to stay for a year. It will be easy for me to get teaching work in the UK and Luke is a British citizen so that will be in his favour.

Therefore the only possible obstacles that could arise are:

- We aren’t able to live stringently enough to save the money
- We break up (I of course would still go)
- Pregnancy – God forbid
- Extreme terrorist activity.

So, Costi you have to stay over there till then. Kate and Mike should also be over that way at that time too. Speaking of Kate – I know you are reading this Kate and it is about time you commented on something. Don’t be afraid, the first time is always awkward and even a little painful but pleasure from the act will come in time.

Of course, all of this means that I will have to cut back on shopping. Since I have been employed a previously hidden obsession for new clothes and shoes has surfaced.

Adios. Kate – comment!

It's not that far away, really...

I don't think I could handle teaching during the day and waitressing at night either.

New Zealand is a great place though, you'd love it here. Maybe. It's not overly exciting.

Scotland is really nice, and not as expensive as London (well maybe Edinburgh is?) Glasgow is worth a visit. Not a lot to see in Dundee though. Aviemore is very picturesque, but take your hiking boots or ski's depending on what time of the year you go :-)
