My Latest Fear

I like cats. In fact my mum has always had between 4 and 9 cats in her home. I have two cats, who unfortunately I have not been able to take with me so are in the custody of their adoptive father. I really miss them :(.

Last night I was thinking about how I missed them, then it occurred to me: I'm going to be one of those crazy spinsters who lives with 50 cats.
This is my future.

Oh please - you're definitely going to be the crazy cat lady - just like your mum.

But you'll also have several children, probably a dog or two, and at least one husband. Maybe more. And some other wird animal. Possibly a lizard...

And you'll have crazy aunt costi who takes your kids out and gets them high on sugar while they're young, and gives them a place to stay when they come over for their OE's.

And you'll have famous aunt Kate who will occaisionally deign to invite us to one of her political events for a good time (the kids will have to stay at home, they'll be under age - and we don't want them to see their mum drunk and flirting with the Prime Minister)

And you'll also have legitimate family members and all of the weird things they'll bring to your life. We can go watch Jess when she gets a role on shorty!

And you'll have a myriad of neices and nephews, sisters/brothers in law and all the various granparents of those people, plus the in laws of your husband (or all of your many husbands heh heh)who'll want to see their grandkids all the time.

Not to mention all your reaaally old mates from school and their wives/husbands and kids.

And all your strange teacher friends from the various schools you've taught in all over the world.

Can you imagine the BBQ's at your place?!? all these odd people turning up to get drunk in front of your kids and embarrass them.

I don't know about you, but i'm looking forward to those BBQ's :-)

Hmm - well, you WILL finish your patio, and in fact will turn your whole yard into one of those lovely out door areas where you can throw summer garden parties.

Then, when Lisa finally gets her arse over here, you'll invite the two of us to visit your newly finished garden, where we'll meet your lovely wife, three cute but annoyingly smartalecky children and all your crazy British friends.

Many years later you'll be a grandfather of 8, and you and your wife will end up having to take on at least two of your troubled teenage grandkids - but that's ok - you know how to sort them out good and proper... you won't be having any of that crap going on in YOUR family.

You'll have started your own business by the time your kids are old enough to go to school - it'll be a kind of consultancy company and it will involve you and your staff doing a fair bit of travel to foreign countries to help their governments with certain skills that their airforce may require... and you'll also be supplying those skills to private companies which is a much more lucrative business.

Hence the enourmous flash garden parties. And the holiday home along the coast of Italy. And that shiny car.

Beyond that i don't really know you well enough to imagine :-) hahaha...

Perhaps it could be a Harem party; everyone has to bring you a wife.
